Your privacy as a Cloudveil customer is important to us. We collect only the information that is necessary to process your order and notify you of any changes to your order.

Security

We use SSL (secure socket layering) 128 bit encryption to protect your information as it travels over the Internet. We also hold a secure key, or digital certificate through Equifax. This key ensures that we are who we say we are and that any data exchanged online is protected from theft and tampering. Consumer protection laws protect you against any unauthorized use of your credit card. Federal law dictates that your legal liability is limited to $50 if your credit card number is used without your permission. If you suspect any illegal use of your card, call your issuing bank immediately to make sure your rights are protected.

 

What we collect

When you order from Cloudveil.com there are a few things we collect from you that you should be aware of. We do capture cookies in order for us to keep track of the items you place in your shopping cart. The "cookie" itself does not tell us who you are, your email address or any other personal information about you. It merely allows us to keep track of items in your shopping cart so you can move around the site freely.

All other information we collect from you is given by you for the completion of the order. This includes contact information (billing and shipping addresses, phone number, email address), and financial information (credit card).

The information that you give us and information about your order may be combined with other personally identifiable information (such as demographic information and past purchase history) available from our records and other sources. This information will be used to make our future marketing efforts more efficient.

Your Email Address

We collect your email address during the order so that we can send you a shipping confirmation with the shipper's tracking number. We can also email you any changes to your order that may effect timing or availability of items.

We do not share your email address with any outside companies. We do use these addresses for our own electronic marketing purposes, but only with your consent. Instructions on how to unsubscribe are included in every promotional email.

We use your mailing address to mail you the latest Cloudveil catalogs and special notices. If you received duplicate catalogs, need to change your address, or would like to be removed from our mailing list, please cut out your mailing label and mail it to:
