A portable and packable heater — such as the Enclosure Vest — is the perfect piece to include on any backcountry trip. The slick polyester face fabric sheds moisture, layers smoothly and slides into the smallest corner of any multi-day pack. Compression is also a function of Primaloft® One™, a lofted synthetic fill that warms even when wet. Internal pockets stow small items and drawcords seal the collar and hem in gusting conditions, while the piece layers under a shell when temps feel chilly or re-stuffs into its own pocket when the sun shines.

Design
We've spent enough time at elevation to realize that wet and cold are sensations that get worse when experienced together. So when moisture is in the forecast we opt for the consistent insulating value of high-grade synthetic loft. Our fill of choice is Primaloft®. It is lofted like down and highly compressible yet absorbs noticeably less moisture; ideal when braving cold & drippy winter conditions.
