This is the ultimate 3-season hi-fit pant. The Cloudburst™ Stretch Plus waterproof laminate delivers optimum breathability keeping you from overheating while still keeping elements where they belong - outside your gear. Full length side zips make it easy to cool off while you're earning turns or after you've made them, while Dynatec chafe patches laugh at snowshoes or sharp edges. The weather in the backcountry can change in an instant - for better or for worse - and when it does, you'll be glad you're wearing these pants.
Cloudburst™ Stretch Plus is a twill-faced, high-denier, high-tech fabric offering maximum comfort through extreme stretch, waterproofness and breathability. The 70 denier offers a super soft, supple hand with two-way mechanical stretch. Configured with a non-porous membrane, this fabric offers high resistance to water pressure while maintaining high breathability. Features a 100 wash super DWR finish.
100% nylon; 20,000 mm H2O/20,000 g/m2/24 hrs.; 70x70 denier; 162 g/m2.
On-the-go gear for those who turn endorphins into adrenaline. Whether running ribbons of singletrack or setting a personal best up the bootpack, the Koven Pant cuts excess material while providing enviable protection and range of motion. Referred to as “earning your turns” by backcountry skiers, the Koven Pant is designed for all adventurers who believe activity and output go hand in hand.

I've been wearing 2 pairs of these pants for 10+ years. With an avg of 60 days per year, they are extremely durable.
Cloudveil lost me as a customer when they stopped making this pant (or any other pant) in a short.
Bring back the "short length" pant!

I don't know how long I've had these pants (5+ yrs), but they sure have seen a lot of abuse on the ski slopes. They have proven to be bombproof! As a tele skier I would like some additional reinforcement on the inside to reduce scuffing from knee pads, but the stretchability and reliability is unsurpassed. There is one thing that keeps me from buying another pair is that Cloudveil no longer makes them in short leg lengths. Come on Cloudveil, short inseamed folks need great pants too!

Light weight at a great price!

I love these pants that are more like bibs. Secure fit with suspenders lets me keep things in pockets that would normally be strapped around my upper body when backcountry skiing.

They are great ski pants and are lightweight enough to do other things in them too. They are great for riding your townie in winter, good for snowshoeing, backcountry cross country skiing, skinning, etc.

I love the overall design features of the Koven shell. As a former US Pro Tour alpine ski racer, I'd like to see more protection at the inside ankle area for edge cuts and a heavier knee panel for gate hits, but I can have these mods done and they are not necessary for the average skier. The fit and feel is excellent...love the zippers! Want one more thigh pocket on the other leg section. I'd like a little less looseness in the legs, but again it's just for my uses. Overall, the quality looks great! If you guys want to make a racer version, I'll test it for you :)

Love the pants, going on third season with them. Stretch fabric is great for high mobility and constant use. Only thing is need a little more reinforcement on knees and boot cuffs, for the tele folks out there. My cuffs are getting ragged and I've replaced the knee fabric several times. That said, Cloudveil has shipped me the extra fabric free whenever I need it.

The overall use, breathability, and waterproofness of these pants are amazing. The side zips work great and haven't gotten caught yet. Overall this is an amazing pant. The one thing I wish was better was if there was a little bit tougher fabric.

Comfortable enough to lounge around in! Keeps me dry in those snowy days on the mountain. Need another pair!

I skiied approximately 30 times last season in these pants. Alta, Snowbird, Copper Mtn. Winter Park, Keystone. Both on and off piste. The Koven Pants did not dissapoint. An awsome pair of pants for the cold and wet outdoors.
